Winter Formal

Monday night was my sorority's fall semester formal.  It's a nice way to end the semester & take a break from all the finals stress.  I had so much fun!  I love all my sorority sisters & it's always great when we get to get together like this.  I also had the best date there, I brought my younger sister!  I wanted a stress free date, & her & I always have a blast when we go out.  Since she goes to school so close she's met a lot of the girls in my sorority multiple times.  My (real) sister & my little get along really well, which makes me super happy!
I had a few girls over to pregame & then we went over to the School of Nursing building to take pictures in front of the big tree with everyone.  Everyone looked so pretty & the tree made for the perfect background.

Then we all got on the busses & headed to Lit Ultrabar in Philadelphia.  It was a really cool venue, but the drinks were really pricey for the size.  My wallet was happy that I was a sober sister for the night!  The DJ was good & we got to do a lot of dancing, my legs were so sore by the time I got back to my room!

I'm obsessed with these two!  The best sister & little ever!

I really loved when the DJ played "All I Want For Christmas Is You," I have so much holiday spirit right now & love this song!  I seriously cannot wait for finals to be over & to go home for break.

Because I'm in such a holiday mood I wanted something Christmas-y to wear.  I borrowed this pretty dress from my sister & went with metallic gold accessories to finish it off.  The accessories were pieces I already owned, I love borrowing dresses & working in my own items too!  (I'm a terrible blogger who forgot to take a solo picture!)

I also got the perfect Christmas manicure over the weekend.  (Those of you who follow me on Instagram already saw this!)

It's a gel manicure, the red is In My Santa Suit by OPI & then I had the nail on my ring finger dipped in gold glitter.  I love it, it just screams Christmas to me!  For those of you that live in the Philadelphia area you should stop by Christie's in Manayunk, they are so talented there & their gel manicures always last for 3 weeks on me!  

On a separate note did you get any snow yesterday?  We had a snow day, which was super exciting (especially after being out so late!).  It was my first time I've had a snow day since I've been at school, & it came at a perfect time.  I got to relax & complete some work on my own time which was great!
