Happy Birthday Mom!

Dear Mom,

Happy Birthday to the most amazing women I know!  I wanted to write a long sappy letter, but I don’t want to make you cry because you should not cry on your birthday.  So here is my attempt at not making you cry, hopefully I’m successful in my mission...

Thank you so much for being the most incredible role model I could ever have.  You are the strongest, smartest, hardest working, & loving person I know.  If I grow up to be half the person that you are I will be ecstatic.  I hope you know how much I look up to you, & that I aspire to be like you.

Thank you for always being there to listen to me, even when I call you when you’re asleep at 2 AM.  You always listen, never judge, & give the best advice.  You are my confidant & sounding board, & I would probably be even crazier then I am without all you do.

Thank you for always being up for anything.  We’ve thrown some pretty crazy requests at you over the years, & you have done every one of them with a smile on your face.  I love that we’ve created the best memories from all of our crazy adventures.

Thank you for being so involved.  You have been there for literally everything for Bridget & I over the years, & that means the world to me.  You have docked countless hours, volunteering, chauffeuring, chaperoning, & the like, just to spend time with us & to make sure that we feel loved.

Thank you for being the most amazing Mom anyone could ask for.  I know that everyone says they have the best Mom ever, but you truly take the cake.  You are the most selfless person I know, & I know that you would do anything for me.  You are my best friend, & I love the relationship that we have & all the time we spend together.  I would not be where I am today without you, & I just want you to know how much I love & appreciate you.
