So I spent all of Monday gushing over the Oscar red carpet gowns, but I never got to the after party dresses! The after party dresses can be almost as spectacular as the ones on the carpet, but tend to be a little sexier. I cannot imagine how many emotions the stars have by the time they make it to the parties--they must be happy, excited, exhausted, & just all over the place. Thankfully they have a little time to have some fun and to hopefully let loose! Here is my second best dressed list from the night.
-Taylor Swift in Julien MacDonald at the Vanity Fair party.
-Jennifer Lawrence in Tom Ford at the Vanity Fair party.
-Chrissy Teigen in Naeem Khan at the Vanity Fair party.
-Lupita Nyong' in Miu Miu at the Vanity Fair party.
-Miranda Kerr in Kaufman Franco at the Vanity Fair party.
-Amy Adams in Carolina Herrera at the Vanity Fair party.
-Kate Hudson in Zuhair Murad at the Vanity Fair party.
-Kristen Bell in Zuhair Murad at the Vanity Fair party.
-Anna Kendrick in Versace at the Vanity Fair party.
After checking out all of the dresses I have decided my overall favorite for the whole night was...
Kate Hudson
She just looked ahhhhmazing in both gowns! Complete & total perfection. Kate Hudson is the epitome of glamour & a true movie star.
So after all that I promise I'm done chewing your ears off about the Oscars! I just couldn't go without reviewing the after party dresses too; there were too many gorgeous gowns to forgo it. So what do you think of the after party dresses? Who was your overall favorite (meaning you loved both dresses)?!

So on top of my Best Dressed list today I am completing Day 3 of the Challenge. Day 3 has a short answer so I thought it would be fun to add to the end of the post!
So I wish there was some really awesome or cool story behind my blog name, but sadly there isn't. I started blogging last summer when I was recovering from surgery that left me stuck on the couch for quite some time. I was bored & there are only so many movies you can watch & only so many things you can cover in glitter, so it randomly occured to me to start a blog & I figured why not. I really wanted to just give it a name without thinking about it & dive right in to learn all about blogging because I'm really impatient like that, but I forced myself to actually think before I gave this place a name. I knew that I wanted to write about beauty, fashion, baking/cooking, & crafting, & I wanted that to come across in the name. I also thought an alliteration would be fun to use in the name because I'm corny like that. So from all of that thinking came 'Crumbs & Curls' & thankfully 8+ months later I still really like it!

Damn, Kate Hudson's after party dress is so gorgeous too! I'm not sure if she got a new stylist or what but I'm loving it!!

I wasn't that impressed with Amy Adams 2nd dress but after being sucked into her ceremony dress all night she sure does look comfy.
