The first Monday in May is always my favorite day in May because of the Met Gala. Every year this extravagant event is held for the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and its red carpet is fashion's biggest night of the year. This year's exhibition is "Camp: Notes on Fashion," which also served as the theme of the gala.
